" We were in Mellieha for a short break during Christmas and new year 2017. We called in to the Imperial after watching the band outside in the square and was made very welcome by the staff and locals. I myself was lucky enough to meat a guy called Tony who I believe was a conductor at the Club. Tony was a fantastic host and took time to show me round the club. It was wonderful to hear the pride in his voice as he explained his involvement and some of the history behind the club. It was a very enjoyable and informative evening and I want to thank all at the Imperial for making me, my wife and my son feel so welcome. I did call back the night before we left for England to say goodbye but sadly Tony was not there at that time.
